Quick Survey – Consumers – MENASA
“QuickSurvey – Consumers” is an efficient research instrument to add to your tool box. It is as economical as a consumer panel with a quality standard at par with an Omnibus, but with none of the drawbacks of these two alternatives.
In terms of methodology, a QuickSurvey is no different from any ad-hoc survey you may conduct, but one that is in field continuously with the common denominator being a popular target group of respondents. Combined with an assembly-line approach to fielding projects, a QuickSurvey offers greater cost efficiency thanks to economies of scale. As the name implies, the service focuses on a fast turnaround of surveys.
The survey is currently available in 10 countries in the Middle East and South Asia: Afghanistan, Bahrain, Egypt, India, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
QuickSurveys also offer a retail version for which you can find more details by clicking here.
This page includes a ready-reckoner so that you can estimate the cost of using QuickSurvey – Consumers.
Description
- Other than fieldwork, rates include support in questionnaire development, translation, programming/hosting the questionnaire, quality control, data validation, translation of responses to open-ended questions, coding and tabulations. Reporting is an optional extra.
- Similar to panel rates in countries where panels are less prevalent.
- As fast a turnaround of fieldwork compared with panels.
- Not limited to a finite pool of respondents.
- Interviewers administer the questionnaire, rather than relying on self-completion. Better control over quality.
- Representative of the target population through quotas and weighting (when required).
- “Fresh” respondents as opposed to survey-savvy panelists who have participated in many projects before. Participation not solely driven by a financial incentive.
QuickSurvey versus Omnibus
- No closing dates for participation. Surveys at times that suit you.
- Exclusive questionnaire, as opposed to shared with other subscribers.
- Greater consistency in quality. Interviews are shorter avoiding respondents’ fatigue towards the end of a lengthy interview.
- Faster turnaround of fieldwork.
- Greater flexibility in specifying the target respondents.
- No compromises due to syndication. We run the survey for you alone.
- The duration of the interview must be between 5-20 minutes. The longer the interview, the higher the CPI.
- The minimum incidence rate of target respondents is 50%.
- The cost per interview reduces for samples over N=400 per country.
- Long open-ended or complex array (rows and columns) questions are at a premium.
- No cross-country discounts.
- By default, deliverables are a raw data file and tabulations with rates including all services to produce them. Please note that we do not share PII in the raw data file.
- Reporting is an optional extra.
Consulting and Operations
- Support in developing the questionnaire. Simply provide the questions you want to include and we design the questionnaire for you.
- The service includes sample plan design, which we share with you before proceeding with fieldwork.
- The sample plan ensures findings are representative of the corresponding population in terms of ethnicity, gender, age group, household size, socio-economic group and area of residence (confined to major population centres).
- Interviewers administer the online questionnaire by telephone for the most part, but not to the exclusion of face-to-face interviews.
- The QA team back-check between 25-30% of all completed interviews.
- We produce the data tabulations with an analysis specification that we agree with you beforehand.
