Understand remittance behaviour, financial inclusion, and financial literacy among three migrant communities in Canada: Haitian, Nigerian and Filipino.

Target Respondents
- Haitian migrants.
- Nigerian migrants.
- Filipino migrants.
- Must have resided in Canada for at least 1.5 years.
- Mix by gender, age and socio-economic group (assume corresponding with incidence rate among the target population).
Research Methodology
- 12 in-venue FGDs. Online is not an option.
- 8 respondents per group.
- Expected duration of the discussion is 120 minutes.
- Ideally convened in an FGD studio, but alternative venues (e.g. club, hotel, business centre) acceptable provided the facility is private.
- Extend hospitality to participants in the form of beverages and basic snacks.
- Basic webstreaming for remote observing.
- Simultaneous translation to English for the French speaking groups (optional).
- Audio visual recordings with audio recordings as a back-up.
